The Department of Mathematics Holds a Panel Discussion about Solutions to a System of Fractional Partial Differential Equations

Panel Discussion

The Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a panel discussion held by the lecturer, Asst. Prof. Dr. (Bassem Karim Khudair), entitled (Solutions to a System of Fractional Partial Differential Equations) in the field of applied mathematics. The seminar was attended by a group of lecturers and researchers interested in this topic.
Where the aim of it is in this seminar we pay attention to the basics of fractional calculus. We have studied some semi-analytical methods using some transformations and properties of the Laplace transform in one- and two-dimensional equations, such as the Homotopy Laplace transform method, the iterative Laplace transform method, and the differential transform. Then we use these methods to solve the burgers and Kdv equations.
The researcher called for paying attention to such topics because they have a major role in our daily lives and their use in many applications such as mobile phone signals, understanding how the planet rotates, and understanding how media, conversations, and publications are spread on social networks. We wish for more creativity and progress in the field of scientific activities aimed at serving our dear college, and from God Almighty, success and payment.
