Meeting of the Heads of Chemistry Departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences on Implementing the Bologna Process…

The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Hamida Eidan Salman, received the heads of the Chemistry Departments in the Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences from all Iraqi universities. This meeting was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Adnan Qahtan, and the Head of the Chemistry Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Abdul Amir Jawad. The meeting discussed the implementation of the Bologna Process at the College of Education for Pure Sciences for the upcoming academic year and for all academic levels.

The meeting began with a speech by the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences. Details of the Bologna Process were then discussed, including the selection of courses, the number of units, and the number of hours, in line with the Ministry’s instructions on this topic. The heads of the academic departments unanimously approved the meeting’s agenda, which will be submitted to the Deans’ Committee for approval.

This meeting was held to highlight the importance of implementing the Bologna Process in the Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences and to outline the main plans for this process as an innovative educational tool designed to facilitate the learning process.
