Participation in a Workshop

The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Hamida Eidan Salman, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ghassan Adnan Qahtan, the Asst. Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Amjad Hamid Al-Husseini, the heads and rapporteurs of academic departments, and a number of faculty members participated in a workshop organized by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology on the Digital University Management System.
The workshop included an introductory overview of the university management system related to human resources (HR) and student information systems (SIS), which is expected to be approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The workshop also reviewed the importance of digital transformation and the benefits it offers students, faculty, and staff, including the acceleration of administrative work. It also addressed the most prominent services automation will provide to students and university staff, as the University Administration Project includes 70 systems that provide diverse services to students, faculty, and staff. During his attendance at the workshop, the President of the University of Kerbala, Prof. Sabah Wajid Ali, emphasized the need to expedite the completion of this project and ensure its success, especially given the availability of scientifically capable human resources within the university. He noted that the digital transformation adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aligns with the University of Kerbala’s vision, which seeks to create a dynamic work environment.
