The Chemistry Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a workshop on “Work and Social Security.” The workshop was presented by Asst. Lect. Nisreen Alaa El-Din Hashem. This workshop aimed to introduce the forms and principles of social security and how to update current systems and enhance protection for workers. The workshop also included several topics on the concept of social security, including its definition and the types of social security, while highlighting the most important benefits the Social Security Law provides to the unemployed. The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to such topics in order to strive to achieve a more just and sustainable social security system that contributes to improving the quality of life of workers and ensuring the economic stability of societies.
