On this day, March 8th of each year, the world celebrates International Women’s Day, in belief in their great status, in recognition of their authentic roles in building nations, and in confirmation of the continuation of supporting and empowering them in all fields. Today, as we share this happy occasion with the world, we are proud of the prestigious position achieved by Iraqi women locally and internationally, reflecting an advanced national vision. We also recall with appreciation the great efforts made by women in our beloved country, and in all countries of the world in the field of education, teaching, construction, development, and supporting their families and societies, and the effective and influential contributions to humanitarian and global issues, driven by the spirit of responsibility that was and still is an integral part of women’s personality throughout the ages, so a sincere greeting we address to women in the land of the two rivers, the cradle of civilizations, and in all countries of the world.
