A student from the Department of Mathematics Publishes a Scientific Research on Presenting a Smart Algorithm to Improve Energy Consumption in Smart Meters Using Modern Communication Technologies NB-IoT and LoRaWAN
The student (Nawar Alaa Al-Samak) in the second stage of the Department of Mathematics published a scientific research in the Energies -MDPI [Q1] magazine. The research presents a smart algorithm to improve energy consumption in smart meters using modern communication technologies NB-IoT and LoRaWAN using development boards based on a microcontroller or PZEM004T energy meters or Dragino LoRaWAN shield or BG96 NB-IoT modules. The algorithm adjusts the transmission time based on the change in data in real time. According to the experimental results, energy consumption and the number of transmitted packets decreased significantly. We wish the student all the best and success in his scientific career.
