The Mathematics Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific training course on (Writing Theses and Dissertations in Microsoft Word). It was presented by the lecturer (Asst. Prof. Hussam Abdul Ali Muhammad), (Asst. Prof. Muhammad Hassan Saloumi), and (Asst. Prof. Muhammad Razzaq Salman). This course aimed to learn about the Microsoft Word program and its main axes in writing, which helps the researcher organize and write documents more efficiently. The course also included several axes with everything that serves the student in the process of writing a master’s thesis or doctoral thesis, such as inserting automatic tables of contents, drawings, equations, and how to divide the document into several chapters in terms of numbering and footnotes, and several other issues. At the end of the course, an exam was conducted for the participants. The researchers recommended the need to pay attention to such topics to benefit graduate students and college professors on how to write scientific theses and research in their correct scientific form.
