Holding of the Third National Scientific Conference for Postgraduate Studies
Under the patronage of the respected President of the University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. (Sabah Wajid Ali), and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. (Hamida Eidan Salman), and under the slogan (Towards New Horizons in Scientific Research). The College of Education for Pure Sciences held its third national scientific conference for postgraduate studies today, Wednesday, corresponding to 1/22/2025, in the hall of the late Prof. Hussein Ali Abdul Latif in the Department of Biology. The conference began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an and the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. And listening to the national anthem. Then, the Dean of the College gave a welcoming speech to all attendees and explained the importance of this conference in promoting scientific research and empowering graduate students to complete their projects in the best possible way, which benefits the labor market. The lecturer, Prof. Dr. (Ban Taha Muhammad), also gave a valuable lecture on the components of solid scientific publishing and how to include it in prestigious journals in terms of quality, importance and originality. The conference was attended by the respected Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. (Haider Muhammad Imran), the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. (Jassim Eidan Barak), and a number of deans from various colleges of the university. The conference included its main axes for all scientific departments. In addition to its axes on the possibility of developing appropriate solutions to the problems suffered by Iraqi society and Karbala Governorate, as well as reviewing recent research related to the development of the agricultural and environmental sectors. And consolidating the scientific research process in the fields of applied and pure mathematics and computers.
