Conducting the Comprehensive Exam for Doctoral Students in the Department of Biology

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. (Hamida Eidan Salman), the respected. The Department of Biology in the college began conducting the comprehensive exam for doctoral students after they took the written exam, by forming oral exam committees to discuss the research plans prepared by the students of the stage to qualify them for the research stage and on various topics under the supervision of specialized professors from various specializations.
The department formed committees to discuss the research plan by hosting specialized professors from various reputable Iraqi universities, to discuss and enrich the proposed topics from a scientific point of view to form a research framework based on a realistic approach within a specific goal to reach the planned results.
The latest developments that researchers have reached in terms of advanced mechanisms and methods to achieve these desired goals and approve them to be a group of projects that can drive the wheel of progress in the country, most of which address important research problems that could have a major role from a scientific perspective if they are applied and benefited from practically.
