Workshop

The Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific workshop on drugs and their impact on society, which was attended by: Asst. Prof. Dr. (Mohamed Yahya Abdel), and Asst. Lect. (Ayat Khaled Sagheer).
The workshop aimed to explain the impact of drugs on society, especially on young people, and to introduce them to their types and harms and what are the health and psychological effects on the individual.
The course also included several axes on drugs, their types, and the reasons for their spread, and explaining the role of the family and society in reducing them. The researchers recommended that it is necessary for every individual in society to take their role in reducing drugs and the need for the media to take a greater role in providing advice to stay away from drugs through targeted awareness programs for young people.
