Training Course

The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a training course on How to Email Academic Journals: Submission Guideline
(How to Email Academic Journals: Submission Guidelines) presented by (Asst. Lect. Zainab Abdul Razzaq Al-Asfour) and (Asst. Lect. Amany Abdulkadhom Abdulridha).
This course aimed at how to address English journals as well as the available deadlines. The author of the research is often unsure of how to ask the journal editor about the status of the research after spending long hours on their research.
The course included several topics on some useful terms in English for the writer or publisher as well as the time that should be taken into account to respond to the email. The publishing process can be long, and most authors hope to get a quick response. While many journals have a submission platform that displays the status of the research or study, it is not uncommon for this study to remain unchanged for a long period of time. Researchers have recommended that it is essential to write to the journal editor for updates and that you always start your email with a friendly greeting. How well you know the recipient will determine how formal this greeting should be.
