The Department of Chemistry Organizes a Training Course on Training on the Role and Uses of Inorganic Materials

Training Course

The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a training course on training on the role and uses of inorganic materials. The lecturers were: (Asst. Prof. Jahan Hamid Abdul Amir), (Asst. Lect. Hussein Ali Muhammad), and (Asst. Lect. Maha Jassim Manshed).
The course aimed to identify inorganic compounds and their vital importance in our daily lives and in various scientific, industrial and medical fields.
The course also included several axes on the fields of compounds, whether in the medical field: as medicines and therapeutic compounds: some inorganic compounds such as zinc oxide and magnesium sulfate are used in medicines and therapeutic ointments. Or in industry such as the fertilizer industry: where nitrogen compounds (such as ammonium nitrate) and phosphate are used to enhance plant growth.
The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to such topics because inorganic compounds are an integral part of nature and industry, and they play a major role in preserving human life and improving the quality of life.
