Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences participates in the opening ceremony launched by the University of Karbala on the occasion of the activities of the World Entrepreneurship Week
The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. (Hamida Eidan Salman), participated in the opening ceremony launched by the University of Karbala on the occasion of the activities of the World Entrepreneurship Week. Where the Technology Incubator Division at the University of Kerbala launched the activities of the World Entrepreneurship Week with the participation of various colleges of the university. A group of colleges of the university participated in the activities of the week sponsored by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. (Naeem Al-Aboudi), and supervised by the President of the University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. (Sabah Wajid Ali). The launching activities were attended by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. (Sabah Wajid Ali), and his assistants for administrative affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. (Jassim Eidan Barak), and scientific affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. (Haider Muhammad Imran), and deans of colleges and a number of professors and students. The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, said, “This distinguished event embodies our shared vision towards empowering creativity, enhancing innovation and transforming ideas into a tangible reality that serves our societies and contributes to building a promising future based on knowledge.” He pointed out that “through this week, the university seeks to empower our youth with knowledge, motivate them with inspiring examples and encourage them to transform their ambitions into a tangible reality.” For his part, the head of the Technology Incubator Division, Asst. Prof. Ali Muslim, stated that “the division is the implementing body for the various activities of the week in cooperation with the university’s colleges, indicating that the Entrepreneurship Week includes more than (100) activities that vary between workshops, training courses, discussion groups, scientific lectures and success stories for university students and professors, in addition to a hackathon for software developers in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology.”
Global Entrepreneurship Week is an annual event in which various countries around the world participate by organizing events, activities and competitions that inspire students to explore their potential as entrepreneurs, exchange knowledge and scientific expertise, develop academic skills and encourage university students to innovate and be entrepreneurs.
