The College of Education for Pure Sciences/Physics Department participated in the Iraqi Universities Table Tennis Championship through the participation of the lecturer (Asst. Lect. Bashir Muhammad Hussein) with the University of Kerbala professors team.
Where four universities were defeated (Hilla University College, Islamic University, Sumer University, Al-Safwa University College) in the group stage with a score of 3-0 for each university, and the group was topped. In the sixteenth round, the Middle Technical University was defeated with a score of 3-0. In the quarter-finals, the University of Kut was defeated with a score of 3-1, and went to the semi-finals. Third place was obtained, tied with the University of Mosul, for the second year in a row.
