The minister of Higher Education Announces the Admission of (152,782) Students within the Central Admission Channels
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Abboudi announced the admission of 152,782 students to public universities within the centralized admission channels for the academic year 2025/2024. He explained during the special press conference the admission of (152,782) one hundred and fifty-two thousand, seven hundred and eighty-two students at the level of the general channel, direct admission, the category of martyrs and the elite, as well as eleven other channels for the admission of various categories, including talented students. He added that the minimum limits for admission to the medical group stabilized in general medicine (99.14), dentistry (98.29) and pharmacy (98.4), while the average minimum limits for admission to nursing (89.57) and health technical colleges (89.29), and the average minimum limits in engineering (84.41) and science (80.97). The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, directed universities to start student registration procedures and adopt the data of the central admission results published on the ministry’s official website (www.mohesr.gov.iq) and the Studies, Planning and Follow-up portal (www.dirasat-gate.org).
