The Department of Biology Discusses a Master’s Thesis on the Study of Respiratory Space and the Proportions of Red and White Muscles in Grass and Silver Carp
The Department of Biology discusses a master’s thesis on the study of the respiratory area and the proportions of red muscles and eggs in the fish (grass carp 1844) and (silver carp 1844) in different locations of the Hindiya River in the holy Karbala Governorate. For the student (Zubaida Muhammad Nazim Al-Moussawi), under the supervision of Asst. Professor Dr. (Muhammad Wissam Al-Mahna). Where the thesis aimed to know the differences related to the movement activity of the two types of fish selected in the study and to add new scientific information about the life of these fish to contribute to supporting the scientific arena for the future histological and functional study of these fish and the relationship of some life activities related to them and movement activity in them. The study recommended conducting a comparative study to know the gill surface area between different types of bony fish that live in fresh and salt water. And conducting a study to know the proportion of red and white muscle between different types It is a bony fish that lives in fresh and salt water. The student received an excellent grade.
