The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, visited Budapest University of Technology and Sciences in the Hungarian capital.
The Minister of Education and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the university’s specialized environment and laboratories and discussed in a meeting with the university’s presidency and its board of directors the area of ​​coordination in the field of atomic energy engineering and the formation of a joint committee to organize the framework of cooperation with the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission.
During the meeting, he stressed the importance of scientific and educational partnerships, twinning programs and exchange of expertise in light of the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its orientation towards internationalizing higher education and interacting with international experiences and its keenness to establish contexts of understanding and exchange of scholarships, noting at the same time that the Study in Iraq program aimed at attracting international students to Iraqi universities provided a positive climate for scientific and cultural exchange between Iraq and the countries of the region and the world.
