The Department of biology at the Faculty of education for pure sciences at Karbala University discussed a master’s thesis entitled (chemical and biological characterization of volatile oils of thyme and eucalyptus plants and their impact on the vitality of the initial heads of the water sac parasite outside the living body). For the student (Benin Ali Hamza)، Under the supervision of assistant professor Dr. Ya’rib Madar Jawad. The message aimed to reduce the toxicity of compounds and chemical treatments using aquatic plant extracts and volatile oils . And evaluation of the manufacture of the natural biocide of the pilot oil of eucalyptus and thyme plants. As well as to reveal the active compounds and the interior by synthesizing the volatile oils of thyme and eucalyptus using the GC mas technology . The study recommended conducting clinical trials to find out the extent of the effect of volatile oils of thyme and eucalyptus on the water bags inside the body using laboratory animals. The student was awarded an excellence rating.
