The President of the Republic receives the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and stressed that the success of university education is an essential measure for the development, progress and prosperity of the country, indicating that the education sector receives great attention from the Presidency of the Republic as it is a top priority for building and preparing people scientifically.
The President of the Republic pointed out the need to activate coordination between Iraqi universities and their counterparts, as well as developing communication mechanisms, exchanging experiences and information, and strengthening the twinning process and partnership between them and universities in developed countries.
For his part, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, briefed His Excellency the President on the Ministry’s plans, programs and development projects for the education sector in the country, appreciating the directives of the President of the Republic and his interest and care for the educational family.
