Minister of Higher Education meets international students and confirms the registration of more than 2000 foreign students from seventy countries in the program study in Iraq for the year 2025/2024
In his speech, the Minister of Education welcomed Arab and foreign students from various countries of the world, stressing that university education represents an important cultural bridge between countries, pointing out that the first version of the program study in Iraq for the year 2024/2023 resulted in the admission of one thousand and fifteen students, while in the second version of the program for the year 2025/2024 more than two thousand students so far from seventy countries around the world.
The Minister of Education reviewed in front of the students aspects of the potential of Iraqi universities and their results achieved in the international classifications and the long-standing academic reputation and distinguished professors and researchers of competence, pointing out the keenness of the Ministry and its universities to provide a quality educational environment for all students to enable them to achieve what he aspires.
For their part, international students expressed their gratitude and thanks to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for providing diverse academic opportunities to enroll in Iraqi universities, praising at the same time the scientific level on which these universities and their specialized colleges are based at the level of primary and higher studies.
