Meeting of the National Council for Accreditation of Educational Colleges Programs
The respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, and the teaching staff of all scientific departments participated in the meeting of the National Council for Accreditation of Educational Colleges Programs, which was held by Al-Zahra University (may the best prayers and peace be upon her). The meeting was attended by the Assistant President of Al-Zahra University (may the best of prayers and peace be upon her) for Girls for Scientific Affairs (Prof.Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jadoua), the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs (Prof.Dr. Hawraa Al-Rubaie), and the Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Faculties of Education (Prof Dr. Ali Hussein Shia), President of the National Council for Accreditation of Programs of Colleges of the Educational Group in Iraq (Prof. Dr. Haider Hatem), Dean of the College of Education at Al-Zahra University (may peace and blessings be upon her) (Prof.Dr. Iman Samir Bahia), and Dean. College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala (Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman), and a number of college deans and heads of educational departments in Iraqi universities. The session covered a group of lectures, including a lecture by (Prof. Dr. Haider Hatem), in which he discussed program accreditation and the mechanisms for its implementation in public and private universities, explaining general concepts and terminology, and national standards for accrediting educational college programs. In addition to the regulatory steps to obtain accreditation for the academic program. The session concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which was developing accreditation councils to become an independent body that grants financial and administrative independence and applies accreditation and quality to public and private colleges and universities, in addition to emphasizing the issuance of relevant publications in this field to spread the culture of accreditation and quality.
