The physics department at the Faculty of education for pure sciences organized a training course on (designing, programming and implementing programs for calculating and processing physical data for scientific research using the programming language MATLAB), delivered by (M.M. Bashir Mohammed Hussein). The course aimed to invest programming languages in calculating, drawing and analyzing the results of physical examinations of materials very easily without resorting to the EXCEL program. The course also included several axes in order to identify the physical properties of solid and liquid materials and the devices that examine these materials. And get acquainted with the MATLAB program. As well as the application by the trainees of the work of the GUI interface in the MATLAB program for the calculation, drawing and processing of physical data data. The researcher called for attention to such topics in order to know the most important software commands for calculating and analyzing physical data. And how to design the GUI interface.
