The President of the University of Karbala inspects the stages of work on the Siraj system for the electronic attendance of students in the College of Education for Pure Sciences

The respected President of the University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. (Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi), the respected Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein Najm, and the respected Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, visited the College of Education for Pure Sciences. They were received by the respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, to view the program that was installed to activate the electronic attendance program for students in order to develop the educational system in the college.
The Siraj system is considered an integrated administrative and educational system, a combination of student information management systems and distance learning systems. It is considered the basic step in digitizing educational institutions and transforming them into smart universities. It deals with the student’s personal information, academic variables, university information, the semester, educational resources, Academic reports, examination committees, as well as the part related to distance learning, which provides communication between the professor and his students. The system was built according to the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The President of the University praised this initiative in order to bring closer communication with professors and students in a systematic manner so that it is possible to move away from traditional methods of communication between the parties.
