The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific symposium on (Afforestation and its importance to human health and the environment), delivered by: (Prof. Dr. Fatima Karim Khudair) and (Prof. Qayd Ta’ban Youssef). The symposium aimed to educate and introduce the concept of afforestation as the process of planting trees and green plants in urban and rural areas. It is not just decorating cities and villages with green, but rather it is a wise strategy for preserving human health and the environment in a comprehensive manner.
