The Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized the fourth Mathematics Festival under the slogan (Mathematics for All) In cooperation with the Department of Mathematics at the College of Education / Al-Zahra University (peace and blessings be upon her), the Holy Karbala Education Directorate, the Imam Hussein (peace and blessings be upon him) Charitable Center for Development and Education, and the Open Educational College / Holy Karbala Branch on Wednesday, 3/6/2024. It’s nine o’clock in the morning, in the central hall of the Presidency of the University of Karbala. The respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, explained the importance of the Mathematics Department in daily life and praised the efforts made by the preparatory committee for this festival to make it a success in the required manner. She also praised the head of the Mathematics Department for completing the festival perfectly. The festival aimed to deepen the applied concepts of mathematics and spread the culture of consolidating the information provided by researchers in scientific fields that rely on mathematics to solve problems. The festival also included a vision of understanding the mathematical field in life. Researchers have called for attention to such topics in order to make mathematics the starting point of wisdom and activate its vocabulary to reschedule sound thinking with logical results.
