Honoring the Minister of Education for the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq on the occasion of Iraq obtaining international recognition and accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). He stated in his speech during the official ceremony, which was attended by a group of parliamentary, governmental and academic figures, that this historical achievement will remain evident to generations, which is Iraq’s obtaining international recognition and accreditation from the International Federation for Medical Education, whose experts conducted a scientific evaluation and programmatic examination of the climate of medical education and the mechanisms of the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Colleges of Medicine. in Iraq. He stressed that the decision of the World Federation for Medical Education granted to Iraq summarizes the solidity of the scientific level of our academic institutions, their certificates and study programs, the eligibility of their educational systems, and their capabilities responsible for achieving their mission and goals in accordance with approved international standards, pointing to securing the course of Iraqi certificates and providing the level expected of them. The ceremony included speeches and tributes to a member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Dr. Firas Al-Muslimaoui, the head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Service, Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, the head of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges, Dr. Anis Khalil, and a number of deans of medical colleges in Iraqi universities that obtained accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq.
