In order to enhance joint scientific and academic cooperation between universities, a rolling meeting was held between the University of Kerbala and the University of Lorestan (within the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week) between the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Amir Qasim Ghazanfari, and the Head of the Department of the College of Chemistry, Professor Dr. Muhammad Nazem Bahjat. And the Head of the Mathematics Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Yahya Abd, for the purpose of expanding the horizon of cooperation between the College of Education for Pure Sciences/University of Karbala and the University of Lorestan/Islamic Republic of Iran. According to the public relations of the University of Lorestan, the University of Lorestan and the University of Karbala are among the universities in Iran and Iraq that have expanded their cooperation in recent months. Meanwhile, the International Scientific Cooperation Group of Lorestan University was able, with its activities, to attract a group of Iraqi students to Lorestan University to study higher education, which is a result of the conclusion of eight memorandums of understanding between Lorestan University and Lorestan University.
The dean of this college (Dr. Ghazanfari), his deputies and faculty members expressed their opinions about the capabilities and capabilities of the University of Lorestan and Karbala in order to determine the ideal path for the type of cooperation. Both Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nazim Bahjat and Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yahya Abd welcomed holding such meetings to expand bilateral cooperation and explained in their words the capabilities of the University of Kerbala so that the University of Lorestan and the University of Karbala can conduct joint scientific research and conduct research.
