The College of Education for Pure Sciences organizes a workshop on choosing the appropriate sample size

Workshop

The Department of biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a workshop on (Choosing the Appropriate Sample Size) delivered by the lecturer (Professor Alaa Abdel Hussein Al-Daami).
The workshop aimed to develop the skills of scientific graduate students on the necessity of determining the appropriate sample size before starting the experiment. The workshop also included a detailed explanation of the use of the Stephen Thompson equation to determine sample size. The importance of determining the size of the population studied and through that determining the sample size. The possibility of using other sources and other equations depending on the type of study.
The researcher called for attention to such topics in order to develop graduate students in conducting the appropriate sample size test in their studies in order to obtain the best and most accurate results with the least effort and time.
