Installing Broadcast Devices to Activate the Electronic Attendance Program for Students
Under the sponsorship and supervision of the Honorable Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Hamida Idan Salman. The College of Education for Pure Sciences began installing broadcast devices to activate the electronic attendance program for students in order to develop the educational system in the college. Broadcast devices were installed and connected to the Al-Sarraj system for managing universities in the college directly to implement the electronic attendance program for college students using barcodes. It is an integrated administrative and educational system, a combination of student information management systems and distance learning systems. It is considered the basic step in digitizing educational institutions and transforming them into smart universities. It deals with the student’s personal information, academic variables, university information, semester, educational resources, and academic reports. , examination committees, as well as the part related to distance learning, which ensures communication between the professor and his students. The system was built according to the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The Al-Siraj platform provides an integrated smart electronic application dedicated to the student and his guardian, to follow up on lectures, exams, and other data, and to view the student’s academic progress. This application can be installed on all smartphones and tablets, and it is available on the main application store for various types of devices.
