Discussion of a Master’s Thesis

The teaching assistant from the Life Sciences Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Wissam Al-Muhanna, participated as a member in the discussion committee for the master’s thesis of the student (Lisa Ali Fayrouz). From the College of Technology at Al-Furat Al-Awsat University, entitled (The effect of adding a mixture of plant extracts and probiotics to the broiler diet on the productive performance and anatomical characteristics of the small intestine).
The study presented by the researcher aimed to evaluate the effect of adding a probiotic with different levels of a mixture of plant extracts on the productive and anatomical performance of the small intestine of broiler chickens. It was concluded that the plant extract powder represented by Digestarom is a good nutritional additive that can be used in feeding broilers because it contains various nutritional elements with a positive effect.
After extensive scientific discussion and listening to the student’s defense of her thesis, her research method, and her use of sources and references, the thesis was approved with distinction. Congratulations to the student, her supervisor, and to the College of Technology at Al-Furat Al-Awsat University for this great achievement and further creativity in service.
