The College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes an In-person Training Course on How to Measure ECG in Experimental Animals

Training Course

The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized an in-person training course on (How to measure ECG in Experimental Animals) delivered by: (Asst. Prof. Dr. Batoul Abbas Hussein), (Asst. Prof. Alaa Hussein Mahdi), (Asst. Prof. Dr. Heba Alwan Abdel Salam).
The course aimed to measure the pulse rate, electrocardiograms, and accompanying changes using an ECG device through how to measure the electrical events accompanying the heartbeat.
The course also included several topics on how to measure the ECG in experimental animals and learning the connection methods used after modifying the parts of the device to suit the size of the animal. Researchers have called for attention to such topics to emphasize the necessity of adopting the ECG measurement method while conducting experiments on laboratory animals.
