Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences Attends a Reception Ceremony for Arab and Foreign Students Accepted within the “Study in Iraq” Initiative

The respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, attended the reception ceremony for Arab and foreign students accepted into the colleges of the University of Karbala within the “Study in Iraq” initiative. The University of Kerbala organized a ceremony to receive Arab and foreign students accepted into the university’s colleges as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative launched by the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, in the presence of the University President, the respected Professor Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saeedi, and his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs. And deans of colleges. The ceremony was attended by a group of Arab and foreign students from various countries, most notably (Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Nigeria, Iran, India, and Burkina Faso). The university president said in his speech during the ceremony, “The Study in Iraq initiative launched by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research aims to receive students of different nationalities and allow them to continue their university studies in a way that strengthens cultural and academic relations between Iraq and the world.” Dr. Bassem Al-Saeedi explained that the university is constantly working to develop academic programs and adopt modern methods and curricula to create an academic generation capable of adapting to changes in order to achieve sustainability in various fields.
