Announcing the Results of the Iraqi University Classification 2023
In order to develop the educational environment and measure institutional and program performance indicators and the path of scientific research, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the results of the Iraqi classification of universities for the year 2023. This version, which was completed by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Agency, includes the evaluation of 95 governmental and private institutions according to the standards of institutional accreditation 20%, international classifications 10%, the effectiveness of scientific research 30%, community service 5%, digital maturity 2%, faculty members 10%, awards 5%, students 5%, and structures. Infrastructure 5%, diversity and international cooperation 5%, and occupational health and safety 3%. The results of the classification (www.iru.gov.iq) showed the University of Baghdad ranked first, then the University of Babylon and the University of Technology at the level of public universities, while Al-Ameed University ranked first at the level of private universities and colleges, Future University ranked second, and then the Islamic University ranked third.
