A Field Visit
A group of teachers from the Chemistry Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, along with a group of students from the Chemistry Department (second stage – evening study), organized a field visit to the Al-Warith House for Shelter and Rehabilitation affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Holy Hussein Shrine / Department of Educational Coordination and Rehabilitation. This visit included several topics, including reading blessed verses from the Holy Qur’an and a speech from the teaching staff delivered by (Mr. Nada Habib Obaid). The aim of the visit was to provide moral and psychological support to the residents of this home, whether orphans or those without shelter, and to serve civil society institutions, as the role of the university professor was not limited to the university, but extended to society as well. The staff recommended the need to educate students and urge them to participate actively in community service and provide assistance to all segments that need it to learn about all the services provided at the home and praise the tireless efforts of the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine and its members in providing all types of care for this group.
