The Chemistry Department Holds an Awareness Brochure on Methods of Removing Pollutants

The Chemistry Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala organized an in-person awareness brochure on (The Method of Chemically Removing Water Pollutants). It was held by the head of the Chemistry Department, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nazem Bahjat, and the lecturer, Dr. Inaam Gouda Radi, with the participation of researchers and specialists from the university’s universities and colleges.
The aim of the awareness brochure is to introduce and educate students about ways to remove water pollutants, as well as to know the types of air pollution and their causes. The brochure also included topics on the necessary tools for applying methods of removing pollutants, such as planting trees, abandoning plastic, and reducing the use of paper. Researchers have called for attention to such issues in order to reduce pollution and use special filters to remove chemicals and increase the number of important sources that reduce pollution.
