In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Praise be to God, who taught with the pen, taught man what he did not know, and prayers and peace be upon the first teacher of people and their guide from misguidance to guidance, whom his Lord made a mercy to the worlds, and taught him with great creation, and upon his good and pure family and his chosen, good companions. He, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: “Whoever goes out on the path of knowledge is in the path of God until he returns.” He also said: “Whoever follows a path seeking knowledge, God will make easy for him a path to Paradise.” A person continues to be a scholar as long as he seeks knowledge. If he thinks he has knowledge, then he is ignorant. No one is arrogant with his knowledge, and no one conceals his knowledge from others. It is like giving charity. If he gives it in charity, God will open up some of his knowledge to him, and if he conceals it, God will forbid him knowledge. Let us begin our academic year with diligence, activity, and commitment. Maintaining scientific integrity and spreading the spirit of fair competition in the pursuit of knowledge and excellence. We welcome our male and female students in the first stage who are newly accepted into the College of Education for Pure Sciences for the academic year 2023-2024. Happy New Year on the occasion of the start of the new academic year, wishing and praying to the Generous Lord to make it a year of goodness, prosperity and success for all and for each of us to achieve what yourselves aspire to. Of hopes and ambitions in light of fair competition in seeking knowledge and excellence and achieving good human and fraternal relations. Dear students… Let the male or female student be a mirror of his or her home and a miniature image that reflects what he or she was raised in wherever he or she is. Welcome, students of science and knowledge, and this is your college / College of Education for Pure Sciences, your second home in which you will spend four years and long hours of your day and many months of your year of seriousness and diligence, and you will drink from the springs of knowledge / from the efforts and minds of the honorable professors who will not spare you everything that is new. Of pure science in all its specializations and branches, to obtain graduate students loaded with the weapon of science and knowledge to serve our dear country…Iraq. Our dear students: Remember the past school years today… How it passed and ended… Nothing remained for the superior from its hardship and fatigue except the pleasure of success and the joy of excellence… Nothing remained for the neglected person who fell short of his games and amusement except the heartbreak of failure and the pain of failure… This is how the days pass, with their sweets and bitterness, their fatigue and their amusement…and their fruits and results remain.. And know that knowledge is sought only to work upon it and to benefit our people and the people of our country with it, and not to preserve it in the mind and write it down on paper during the exam for the sole purpose of success.. In my name and in the name of all the teachers in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, I would like to welcome a group of male and female students who have been accepted this year in our college, and we wish them success and giving that pleases God and then pleases your family.
