The Dean’s Assistants for Scientific and Administrative Affairs Meet with the First-year Students and Emphasize the Development of Their Academic Skills in Order to Start a Distinguished Academic Year
The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs (Prof. Dr. Ghassan Adnan Qahtan), the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs (Prof. Malik Mutlaq Takhit), and the Head of the Chemistry Department (Prof. Muhammad Nazem Bahjat) met with the freshmen. At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished gentlemen congratulated their students, urging them to exert effort, perseverance, and challenge, as well as success, excellence, and developing their academic skills in order to prepare for an academic year marked by success. The respected scientific assistant also pointed out the college’s keenness to provide all the scientific and academic requirements and provide appropriate conditions, in addition to emphasizing the necessity of adhering to the ministerial controls and instructions for student affairs, stressing that the course of the academic process is represented by adherence to the official working hours, uniforms, and mutual respect with their colleagues. And their teachers, and that there be familiarity and love among them. At the end of the meeting, the Scientific Assistant emphasized that the doors of the Dean’s Office are open at any time to all students, to listen to them, to answer their inquiries, and to solve the obstacles they face, wishing them success and excellence. This meeting came as an expression of the Deanship of the College’s keenness to make students feel concerned and cared for, and to sharpen their motivation in order to advance the students’ academic level, keep pace with development, and achieve creativity and individuality.
