Discussing Scientific Research Indicators and Global Classification Results

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, held a meeting with the University of Baghdad Council and discussed the results achieved at the level of scientific research and international classifications.
He expressed his confidence that Iraqi universities will record more positive indicators in academic performance and quality areas, especially in light of the shift towards the Bologna process, which will enable the university environment to respond to accelerating knowledge requirements and achieve harmony with labor market variables.
He stressed that the results indicated in the Times World Ranking, which placed Iraq in the thirty-seventh place in the world, bear clear evidence of the correct path pursued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its university institutions in terms of scientific research and academic reputation, calling at the same time to intensify work in the fields of community service.
