The College of Education for Pure Sciences Holds an In-person Training Course on Teaching Science Laboratories Using Artificial Intelligence

Training Course

Within a series of scientific activities held by the scientific departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences and under the guidance of the respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman. The College of Education for Pure Sciences held an in-person training course entitled (Teaching Science Laboratories Using Artificial Intelligence).
The course included an explanation of the concept of artificial intelligence, which is related to intelligence associated with digital or electronic devices, such as; Computer, cellular devices or robots, and artificial intelligence expresses the ability of these digital devices to perform tasks associated with intelligent beings. The term artificial intelligence applies to systems that have human intellectual processes such as; The ability to think, discover meaning and learn from past experiences. It was also explained how artificial intelligence works. Artificial intelligence works in the digital environment through the availability of digital devices and specialized programs to analyze and design algorithms, and machine learning. In general, the artificial intelligence system accommodates large amounts of training data.
A statement was made about the possibility of using artificial intelligence to conduct an experiment in a laboratory, but university students must be able to learn about virtual laboratories to do so. The role of smart virtual laboratories (the role) of artificial intelligence in virtual laboratories comes through its use in improving the quality of learning and transfer of knowledge. We wish for more creativity and progress in the field of purposeful scientific activities in service of our dear college, and from God Almighty, success and payment.
