The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences Meets with the Teaching Staff in the Physics Department and Stresses the Necessity of Activating the Role of the Educational Guidance Committee

Meeting of the Dean with the Professors of the Physics Department

The respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, met with the professors of the Physics Department in the presence of the Head of the Physics Department (Prof. Adel Jalil Najm). The meeting concluded with a discussion of related matters, including:
1- Emphasis on the issue of student absences after confirming the condition of each student in the event that he is ill, or any other force majeure circumstance. The database was used to record student absences.
2- The teaching hours should be four days.
3- The need to activate the role of the Educational Guidance Committee with students.
4- Adherence to the State Employees Discipline Law.
5- Dealing with students will be in accordance with the laws and the Student Discipline Code, and the division of the pursuit grade will be according to a special form prepared for this purpose.
The Dean of the College also listened to the observations of the teachers and discussed them with them, especially with regard to the presence of scientific and educational qualification courses for the professor, preferably outside Iraq, to advance the educational process and overcome the requirements to start a successful and continuous academic year. In conclusion, the Dean praised the efforts of the teaching staff for the effort they made in the conduct and success of the educational process, wishing them more excellence and creativity.
