Iraqi universities concluded memorandums of understanding with their Iranian counterparts during the activities of Science Week between Iraq and the Islamic Republic. The memorandums of understanding included several cooperation axes, including research opportunities for graduate students, joint supervision, development of the post-doctoral stage, exchange of students between universities, mutual fellowships in various specializations, cultural, artistic, and sports programs, joint research projects, and benefit from laboratory services and logistical equipment at the universities of the two countries. The memorandums included scientific cooperation in the field of training and the exchange of scientific consultations related to curricula and curricula, while it was agreed to form a committee from both parties to coordinate, follow up, and facilitate implementation procedures.
