The Seventh National/Fourth International Scientific Conference
Sponsored by the Honorable President of the University of Karbala, Prof. (Bassem Khalil Nayel). Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, the respected Prof. Hamida Eidan Salman, and the Dean of Hilla University College, the respected Prof. Aqeel Majeed Al-Saadi, the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala held its seventh national/fourth international scientific conference in cooperation with Hilla University College. Scientific support by the IEEE Foundation for the period from 9/24/26/2023 under the slogan (Pure Sciences… Horizons and Aspirations).
The aim of the conference was to advance scientific research, develop knowledge that serves the university and society, exchange scientific experiences, and learn about modern areas of knowledge. The Dean of the College of Pure Education also gave her speech in which she warmly welcomed all attendees, and explained what the conference seeks through its seminars and scientific sessions to create a sophisticated, dialogic knowledge environment to accommodate many issues of scientific and technological development, keep pace with development, and modernize knowledge, its applications, and its renewed horizons.
The Dean of the College stated that the conference included (297) papers from inside and outside Iraq, and the number of accepted papers reached (134) papers from various Iraqi and international universities. The number of research papers submitted by Karbala University researchers within the conditional specializations adopted by the conference reached (78) research papers. These research papers were subjected to scientific reasoning and linguistic evaluation to be published in the (IEEE) library classified within the Scopus database.
The conference also indicates the continuous development in the scientific and research movement and the broad local and Arab participation, and this indicates the great level that the College of Education for Pure Sciences has reached in the field of research and knowledge. In addition to obtaining patents in a number of scientific specializations, the number of which reached (19) patents.
In conclusion, Prof. Hamida Idan Salman extended her thanks to the Deanship of Hilla University College, represented by the Dean of the College, Prof. Aqeel Majeed Al-Saadi, and also her thanks to the conference committees from the advisory committee, which includes evacuation scholars from various foreign and Arab countries, and also thanks and gratitude to the preparatory and scientific committees for their great efforts that They made this effort during this period, and thanks go to the researchers for their participation, as well as to all members of the Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences and Hilla University who are working to accomplish this important conference.
