Allocating study seats in universities for memorizers of the Noble Qur’an

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, decided to allocate special seats in the primary university study for memorizers of the Holy Qur’an. The Minister of Education, based on his authority stipulated in Article 5 of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Law No. 40 of 1988, directed the department concerned with determining the percentage of admission to universities at the level of primary studies in Iraqi universities, to consolidate the Iraqi Islamic and national position in upholding the word of the Noble Qur’an and confronting the provocation practiced by instigators of hatred in the world.
