The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, laid the foundation stone for the project of classrooms for the medical group and the supplementary phase project for residential homes at the University of Babylon. In his speech, in the presence of the Governor of Babylon, Wissam Aslan Al-Jubouri, the President of the University, Dr. Qahtan Al-Jubouri, and a number of university presidents, assistants and deans of colleges, he confirmed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is actively following the indicators of implementing university projects with the aim of achieving the highest level of quality requirements imposed by the scientific and academic environment and what is related to it. Classrooms and specialized laboratories that keep pace with solid international standards that will enhance the foundations of medical and health education in Iraq. He pointed out that work is continuing to complete urban projects in Iraqi universities in cooperation with local governments in the governorates, especially with regard to the housing role for workers in university institutions and the establishment of new buildings capable of accommodating the indicator of growth in the number of students as well as creating an educational environment that meets the requirements of modern educational and academic programs.
