The Department of Biology Discusses a master’s thesis on the effect of some plant extracts on the performance of some parts of the body’s life of the floor in the operative field in the holy city of Karbala

The Department of Biology in the College of Education and Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala, a master’s thesis entitled (The effect of some plant extracts on the vital performance of the ground snail Monacha spp in the Holy Karbala governorate) by the student (Maeda Ayed Khalaf) and supervised by (Prof. Dr. Ashwaq Kazem Obaid).
The thesis recommended survey studies to find out the extent of the Monacha obstruct snails in the farms of Karbala to prevent its control, conduct biological and scientific studies on snails to understand the details of their life cycle, and conduct a study on the possibility of life substrates, and to activate biological management on snails to be agricultural to reduce their damage, and to conduct Quantitative detection. The thesis also aimed to study the fertility of land snail Monacha obstruction located in Kamalia farms (Karbala governorate), and a histological study of some organs of the snail body from the gonads, lung, and foot area, a study before treatment with alcoholic ginger extract with the highest concentration (30) mg/ml and the pesticide with a concentration of (25). mg/ml. The student obtained an honors degree.
