Students of the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala, accompanied by their honorable professors, organized a field visit to the Al-Sibtain Academy (PBUH) for Autism and Developmental Disorders. This academy is the largest project in Iraq for the treatment of children with autism, and the fourth in the Middle East. It was implemented by the strategic projects affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Al-Hussainiya and managed by the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Holy Shrine of Al-Hussainiya. The academy includes specialized halls for sensory, functional, and physical therapy, and the floors and walls were implemented in an aesthetic and appropriate manner for patients with autism. This visit included distributing flowers and sweets to children on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. The aim of this visit was to familiarize themselves with the approved training programs and methods with children.
