The Minister inaugurates the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Kafeel University

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi visited Al-Kafeel University in Al-Najaf and inaugurated the Faculty of Medicine and a number of its specialized scientific laboratories.
During his tour of the College of Medicine, his knowledge of its laboratories and classrooms, and his inspection of the faculties of dentistry, pharmacy, medical and health technologies, and technical engineering, he stressed that the changes and challenges require university institutions to keep pace with global educational systems, modernize specialized scientific and academic programs, and twinning, in line with the necessities of improvement, quality, and follow-up to the latest international systems and experiences.
He explained during a press conference in the presence of the Governor of Najaf, Dr. Majid Al-Waeli, the Governor of Holy Karbala, Mr. Jassim Nassif Al-Khattabi, and a number of heads of public and private universities that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its governmental and private universities and colleges are working in accordance with institutional and program accreditation standards with comprehensive indicators that include governance, management, resources and students. And members of the teaching staff, curricula, scientific research and community service, pointing out that the performance indicators of Iraqi universities reflect their responsibility to respond to the goals of sustainable development, especially with regard to the quality of education and the arrangement of priorities according to their national and global perspectives.
He continued that the interest and relentless work on developing and improving performance in specialized medical fields in public and private universities stems from the policy approved by the Ministry towards adopting quality as a fundamental basis in developing university education paths and its academic environment.
