Training Course

Within the series of scientific activities held by the scientific departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, under the guidance of the respected Dean (Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman). The College of Education for Pure Sciences hosted the in-person training course (Basics of Advanced Journalism Editing), which was set up by the Women’s Empowerment Unit and in cooperation with the Department of Continuing Education at the University of Karbala. The training program included three axes that focused on the basic principles of journalistic editing, as well as presenting models and practical examples in writing news, as well as addressing common mistakes in drafting press news, whether at the level of language or at the level of news standards.
It is noteworthy that the course witnessed a distinguished attendance of more than forty trainees from inside and outside the university, including government security, service and educational institutions. We wish more creativity and progress in the field of meaningful scientific activities and cooperation between academic and scientific institutions in service of our dear college.
