Within the series of scientific activities held by the scientific departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences and under the guidance of the respected Dean Prof. Dr. (Hamidah Aidan Salman). The Department of Chemistry, in cooperation with the Red Crescent Society in Karbala, held a training course on first aid. The lecturers were delivered by Mr. (Samer Nizar Abboud) and Mrs. (Doha Yahya Abboud). It was attended by lecturers , researchers and a group of people interested in this topic. Where the training course aimed at: Giving theoretical and practical lectures on first aid to save the lives of the injured during natural disasters and accidents in order to try to bring him to the best possible health condition with simple therapeutic tools or skills until the time of full medical assistance. It is usually a set of simple medical steps, but it usually leads to saving the life of the injured person. The researchers called for the need to pay attention to such training courses and encourage them to be held between periods, because of the importance of this topic in our daily lives, because it constitutes a rescue process in the event of natural disasters … May God Almighty protect everyone. We wish more creativity and progress in the field of meaningful scientific activities and cooperation between academic and scientific institutions in service of our dear college.
