The Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. (Naeem Al-Aboudi), visited the University of Karbala, accompanied by the Governor of Karbala, Professor (Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi), and the member of the Education Committee in the House of Representatives, Professor (Firas Al-Maslamawi). They were received by the President of Karbala University (Professor Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saeedi) and his scientific and administrative assistants, as well as several deans of the university’s faculties. This visit resulted in an inspection tour during which he was briefed on the university buildings under implementation, stressing the need to complete infrastructure projects as soon as possible, in addition to his visit to the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala to open educational medical clinics there. He also visited the College of Islamic Sciences to see The book fair in it. The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, has put forward a set of basic issues and requirements that our college needs to discuss with the Minister, and it has been accepted by His Excellency. At the end of his visit, the Minister appreciated all the efforts made by the President of the University, his assistants, and all the employees of the Presidency of the University of Karbala, as well as the efforts made by the deans of the faculties to show the university in the best way and its shape … and from God Almighty, success and payment.
